S-SERIE GAS INFRARED HEATERS

Gasolec started in the heating business with the production of the S-type, with its characteristic cast iron burner chamber and a ceramic burner plate. A successful heater still considered as a good, relatively inexpensive and reliable brooder for the animal production. Around 3 million S-heaters have been produced so far and production continues! Standard with a stainless steel filter and an Heavy Duty filter is optional.

Applications
The S-type brooders are mainly used for broiler & turkey houses, piglets in farrowing pens, weaner pigs, wean-to-finish pigs and even for home consumer markets (patio heating).

  • Air filter options

    Air filter options

    Dust and other materials getting sucked in to the heater can lead to an incomplete combustion which can be toxic. To prefent this from happening Gasolec supplies every unit with a dust filter. There are two kinds of filters: 

    SS Filter (standard)
    The SS (Stainless Steel) filter is shipped standard with every S-series heater. Due to its solid design, the filter can easily be cleaned by hand during the production cycle, and with compressed air or simply with water after each cycle. 
    HD Filter (optional)
    The HD (Heavy Duty) filter is a completely different kind of filter. The filter material is cloth and will prefent 99% of the dust particles to enter the S-heater, which is more than the SS filter can do. Due to the folded filter medium, the overall filter area is much larger compared to the SS filter, meaning the filter does not have to be cleaned as often. The HD filter can easily be cleaned by hand during the production cycle, and with water or compressed air after each cycle.
